Siobhan Delaney and Mele of Mama White Lion are joining forces to provide a grounding and uplifting gathering of Singing and Drumming together as community upon the land.

A full afternoon immersion in sacred songs, drumming rhythms & deepening connection to our voices, our Drums, and each other.

At this intersection between Beltane and Summer Solstice, as the seasonal energy rises and life begins to truly bloom, we will gather in celebration of life in the company of kindred community.

United, we will embody our prayers, raise our voices, and be guided on a shamanic medicine drum journey and deepen our practice with our Drums & Voice.

Expect to be gently held to receive, play, dance and remember the power of women singing and drumming together, as we have done for so much longer than we have not. Tending to the wild soul longing for this return.

Join us for this unique opportunity to simply marinate in the medicine of your Drum, our collective voices, sisterhood, and sacred rhythms of the Earth.

*Once our facilitated time together ends at 5 pm, you are then encouraged to stay and socialise over a shared potluck dinner together; please bring a plate to share.

Location:
Our location is weather-dependent and will be confirmed the week before we gather.
If weather supports us, we will gather outdoors in a wild location in Kallista,
If not, we will gather indoors in Kalorama.

Please bring:

  • Instruments - Drums, rattles, clap sticks

Closed Women's Circle 2024

SOLD OUT

These will be held in my home in the Dandenong Ranges, just 60 minutes from Melbourne CBD.

Find yourself nurtured in a safe, uniquely crafted, reverent space in the hills with like minded souls, ready to deepen our connection to one another, to ourselves and to this precious earth.

I would be honoured to hold space for 12-15 women, per circle. Each circle held 9 times over the year.

These are closed circles, meaning we journey as a group for the year with no new members being added. The beauty of this being that each month we deepen, co-creating the space, building familiarity with the same faces, the same voices and stories.

We can only heal and remember our wholeness when we feel safe.

And with safety and connection as a priority, our journey is a wild and beautiful one.

Tending to Our Selves

28th January, 2024

‘Tending To Our Selves’ is a full-day workshop that creates space for us to tend to the most fragile parts of ourselves in a way that soothes, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves we may have forgotten in a way that rekindles relationship to self. We will remember who we are, and witness each other do the same.

Throughout this workshop we will journey in meditation, experience voice work and group singing, take up physical space, soothe ourselves with lullaby and connect with our inner voices.
By coming together in this ceremonial container we expand our capacity to bear witness to ourselves and each other, in all our humanly truths. We remember who we are in this moment, we love and connect with that version of us and we tend to her needs fully and without shame or intent to ‘fix’.There are parts inside all of us that feel alone, tired, and not seen.

‘Tending To Our Selves’ will allow us to hold those parts.

And nurture them. And celebrate them!

Tending to Our Grief

27th January, 202

Tending to our grief is a full-day workshop holding space for the myriad layers of grief. A space to be held in the arms of community as we tend to our grief, offering a doorway into deeper ways of being with life.

“There is some strange intimacy between grief and aliveness, some sacred exchange between what seems unbearable and what is most exquisitely alive. Through this, I have come to have a lasting faith in grief.”―Francis Weller

Through this workshop, we will be working with rhythm, melody, and song to support us in our grief. Creating a space to be in a relationship with our grief, not to fix or move past it.

By coming together in this ceremonial container we are expanding our capacity to bear witness to the grief of the world within and without. We are rekindling the ancient wisdom of being with and tending to grief in community. Re-membering that our greatest healing does not happen in isolation.

Together we are unconditioning ourselves to instead anchor into the beauty and sacredness of grief. Reclaiming how to be in right relationship with grief as we re-member the deep source of gratitude and praise for life that can be found in the deepest wells of our suffering.

Summer Solstice Women's Gathering

22nd December, 2024

This circle is an opportunity to be with kindred-hearted women and share in the potential and magic created when women gather with intention and deep presence. Gathering in the spirit of healed sisterhood. Knowing that together we are stronger, together we are wiser, together there is nothing we can not achieve!

As we approach the peak of the yearly cycle with Summer Solstice, I know that this time of year can be very full and even overwhelming at times, so gift yourself with this time for you, to step away from the day-to-day living and be present with what is most alive within you. A sanctuary for you to sit with what it is that is no longer serving you in your life and in need of being released for your soul's evolution. In circle you are heard, you are held and you are whole dear heart.
